By InHerSight

"...Girls want to rock the Curry 5’s too," said 9-year-old fan Riley Morrison in a letter to NBA star Steph Curry, pointing out that her favorite shoes were not available for girls. Her letter stated that she was a big fan of his, and since she was starting a new basketball season, she wanted to sport his new shoes for the season. But to her disappointment, she found that the Curry 5’s were only available to boys, men, and women on the website, not girls.

Her letter moved Curry to take action'he spent the next two days talking to Under Armour to fix the issue and vowed to send her a pair of the Curry 5’s and Curry 6’s. But he didn’t only promise her new shoesin a letter back to Morrison, Steph wrote, "Lastly, we have something special in the works for International Women’s Day on March 8th, and I want you to celebrate with me! More to come on that, but plan to be in Oakland that night!" Three cheers for Curry!
