A top-down management style with preferrential treatment toward men, even though a majority of the workforce here is women.

Very Unsatisfied Rater

I was constantly passed over for promotions that were given to less competent males with less experience. Every time, I would ask, "What can I do to improve my chances of earning this role the next time around?" I was always told, "You're doing great. Keep doing what you're doing and you'll get there." Then I'd always receive a small raise in salary, presumably to keep me around. So it seemed as though I was quite valuable, just not valuable enough to put into a leadership role.
