Trimble is a great company. They have initiatives for women's mentoring and networking programs, there are women in Senior leadership roles and opportunities for women to be promoted within the company. You do have to work hard and stand out from the rest but if you do, they will notice.

Although Trimble is currently still male dominated and lacking sufficient support for new families, it is currently paying more attention to increasing awareness around diversity and supporting mothers and parents. I am hopeful that they will succeed with their efforts and I would like more talented women to join the crew and bring their voice to the table. This is a great place to work for women who want to combine engineering with creativity.

There is room for improvement but women, and diversity and inclusion in general, is getting more focus these day and I'm definitely seeing some improvements. The customer base has pulled from historically male industries (construction, trucking, ag) but as Trimble becomes more software and services focused, am seeing more women come in to the company. I've seen that women tend to stay at Trimble once they join. It's a place where you can be challenged and there is a lot of opportunity if you are willing to go after it. Amount of flexibility has a lot to do with your particular manager, so not a ton of "women friendly" policies, but lots of good managers who do the right thing.

High tech company offers equal opportunity to all. There are female VPs, Directors and others in leadership roles as well as career growth potential and equal pay for equal roles. Often difficult to find women in some of the business verticals supported by Trimble such as agriculture, construction, heavy civil and engineering; but always interested in bringing women from STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) into the company.

Very Satisfied Rater

Great company made up of innovative, forward thinkers, at all levels. Great work-life balance, option to telecommute as needed. Fast-paced, dynamic work environment. I would (and have) recommended the company to several people.
