You end up feeling overworked, underpaid for the area and underappreciated. Anyone is bumped up to be a manager. All they have to do is ask. There really is no training and you end up with bad management.

Unsatisfied Rater

I had a good experience getting hired into management. That is not always the case. A male coworker went from entry level clerk position at close to min. wage to management making 40,000 a year in one month. A women who is over-qualified for the management position has been in training for a year and still not promoted. She often had to help the new male manager with his job, why not just promote her?

Indifferent Rater

King Soopers improved the culture within the organization through the creation of groups that makes this company a great place to work. I have been able to go to school, work and be a single mom for seven years with the company. King Soopers offers great benefits and a work life balance you can't find else where - definitely a great place to work and a great company to be part of.

Satisfied Rater

Equal pay for equal work is a strong plus in this company. I feel King Soopers is still a good place to work, but it has lost some of the family feel it used to have for all its employees.

Satisfied Rater

Inflexible and unfriendly company. Leadership lets everyone know that all workers are disposable.
