Our Ratings Categories
Raters on InHerSight tell us how satisfied they are with 15 different categories. Here's how we define each of these categories.

I was unwelcome there, because the game they were working on the time, was built for men. I didn't play the game, which was held against me. This is common in gaming companies. In addition, my boss was a horrible person, who treated people badly, ruined morale, productivity, and creativity, and was hated by his entire team. When I took this to the head of HR, and afterwards, the CEO, they manufactured a negative 360 review, in order to remove me from the company. Worst work experience of my life. Have never had a negative 360 before, or since.

Very Unsatisfied Rater

Disruptor Beam does try to live by high standards. It has values that it talks about, and lives by.

Very Satisfied Rater

Disruptor Beam hires more women than I'm used to seeing the in Game Industry, which is great. Women are treated completely as equals, and there is no exclusion based on gender. Everyone has been exceptionally professional and I haven't witnessed a single incident of disrespect at this company.

Very Satisfied Rater

Anybody can be whatever they want to be at this company, as long as they're willing to become dangerously good at it. I love it!

Very Satisfied Rater

Game Companies traditionally have a low percentage of women working in them (on the order of 10% or so). While Disruptor Beam's ratio of female colleagues (~30%) is still below where we'd like it to be, it's well above that Game Industry norm. And given that one of our three Company Core Values is Continuous Improvement (the others being Authenticity and Entrepreneurship), my bet is that that ratio of women working here will almost certainly increase over time.
