CEO of powerhouse CBS Leslie Moonves has left the network after six more women have accused him of sexual harassment and assault. The departure comes after months of legal battles and outside investigations due to six initial complaints. The new allegations bring the total to 12 women who have accused Moonves of misconduct. According to the women, he exposed himself, forced them to perform sex acts, and threatened to retaliate if they didn’t comply. CBS announced that at this time, Moonves will not receive any severance benefits, and any future payment will depend upon the results of the independent investigation. In addition, Moonves and CBS have vowed to donate $20 million to organizations that support the #MeToo movement and equality for women in the workplace.
