Palo Alto Networks Marketing PMO is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for driving effectiveness and efficiency within the marketing organization through the adoption of processes and implementation of system-related programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, demonstrated project management skills, strong attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.

Build a trusting partnership, working closely with global and regional teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment around key priorities and initiatives
Track progress of organizational goals and milestones, communicate progress, change management plans to keep all stakeholders informed, engaged, and inspired
Demonstrate ownership of Agile project management methodologies used across technical as well as non-technical teams, and understanding of hybrid operating models
Establish a frictionless and supportive project management experience as part of Marketing PMO, and work creatively and analytically through problem-solving scenarios, often as a central point of contact for stakeholders
Able to juggle and prioritize projects coming from multiple sources and teams, identifying issues before they happen, escalate as needed and proactively monitor outcomes
Excel in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment, with the ability to recognize shortcomings, establish a clear plan, track deliverables and support teams throughout the lifecycle
Use cross-functional knowledge and stakeholder perspectives and seek to understand issues, trends that may influence the business and the projects around them
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
5+ years of applied knowledge and experience managing projects in a Sales and Marketing environment
Excellent experience with Project Methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall etc.) in an environment that doesn’t have a lot of experience with formal Project Management
Well versed with a variety of project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet & Workfront), with the ability to create and deliver custom tailored frameworks and workflows with minimal guidance
Proven track record of delivering mid to large scale projects and programs from start to finish within a matrixed organizations, to bring structure and focus to the team while being agile in a time of constant change
Continuous effort to simplify, improve, and optimize work processes, in a demanding and constantly evolving environment
Familiarity with change management in an growing organization going through transformation a plus
