Not a very positive atmosphere to work. A lot of work for very little money.
The company is great. There is a lot of opportunity to grow with the company and move up. The management will stand behind you and support you, especially if you show you care about your work and you’re striving to be a good employee. Show up to work on time, show dedication and hard work and you can go far with this company.
Great place to work.
Loved the job, But would personally not recommend working at the hotel in Kennewick, WA. The managers are pretty rude to their employees, the turnover is crazy and there's no incentive to move up because your pay will stay stagnant.
Constant changes in upper management make it difficult to keep a cohesive team.
I love working here. One of my favorite jobs I've ever had and I definitely can see myself growing with this company.
When I was promoted to supervisor, I was offered a non negotiable wage that was less money than the man who previously held the position. However, I have to commend the general manager (who was female) when an incident between myself and another manager occurred. I felt I had been sexually harassed by this manager. When I expressed my concerns to the general manager she took them very seriously and it ultimately led to his termination.
I thought I had finally found a company and a team who engages in smart business practices and values their greatest asset, their people. It turns out I was very wrong. Unfortunately, like many companies, they are trying to make the topurchase tier of management rich by taking advantage of the lowest level hardest working people.
Hilton Garden Inn in Ithaca NY is great for learning where you want to go next. Definitely a great stepping stone in my career!
