What our users are saying about working for CDW
CDW prides itself for being a great place for women to work but it lacks minority’s in leadership.Lastly, it lacks a solid career pathway for employees.
The employee perks went away and so did a lot of solid sales people.
CDW is an excellent company to be apart of-they have a great work culture there.
While tech is a male dominated industry, and Sales is mostly male, we have multiple female VPs and women are well respected throughout the organization at all levels.
I feel so blessed to have found CDW. It's a great company. The best I've ever had the best pleasure of working for.
Overall, CDW is a great company for women, but there are things it could do better. Some departments definitely have a "Boys Club" mentality where senior leadership grants special perks to male employees but not female employees, like golf outings.
As a woman I feel many of the new fathers around here do not get the equal amount of paternal leave. They get 1 week paid regaurdless of tenure with company. While many women here have 1 month to 3 months paid based upon your tenure. I feel it should be equal time. Dads are just as important as Moms. And this Mom would like to see the new Dads be able to take equal amount of time off especially if there is no support system for their spouse other than them.
Questionable management, low pay, a rude and often indignant sales staff.
Being treated like garbage should at least pay better.
An amazing place to work with 100% equality for all.
I was physically and verbally assaulted by a coworker. I reported it to my manager who did absolutely nothing. When I saw him physically and verbally threaten another coworker in much the same fashion, I reported it to HR. HR told me he has a hearing problem and I misinterpreted the situation. They did not at any point offer to move the offender to a desk away from mine, nor was he reprimanded by management and it was not made to see any consequences for repeatedly verbally and physically threatening female employees. The Vice President told me "if you don't like it, you can quit." So that is what I did.
CDW offers unlimited earning potential and a great working culture for women. As a women, I feel very lucky to call CDW my home because of its work opportunities, challenging projects, and unlimited career growth for hard workers. I work with a great team and feel that the company genuinely cares about its coworkers well-being. CDW has offered me a variety of benefits that contributes to my work/life balance. Perks like private nursing rooms, free outings/lunches, race sponsorships, and subsidized gym memberships have made being a working mom easier. The tuition reimbursement and onsite professional development have helped me gain skillsets that I can use to grow my career while supporting my family. The office culture is unmatched – coworkers volunteer their time to organize fun activities at the office. I also feel like our office is a small family where the mothers (and fathers!) support one another. CDW is truly a five-star company!
Great company, strong female leadership, great work/life balance
It is indeed possible to "have it all" at CDW. As a technology company, they are very forward-thinking and have state-of-the-art work equipment that make communication & production gracefully intertwine. The benefits are second to none. Insurance, fair wages, work/life balance...all are elite. The company truly cares about its employees and partners. I recommend this company to anyone/everyone I meet. I truly can't say enough good things about CDW.
