THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED OUT OF ANDOVER, MA AND THEN WILL MOVE TO CAMBRIDGE, MA in 2020
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys and paralegals working on time sensitive projects. Position provides support to team members in multiple locations.
Perform secretarial and administrative/clerical duties as they relate to legal work. Provide support to multiple department attorneys in all areas, including invoice processing, scheduling, correspondence, timekeeping, and general office tasks.
Meet critical deadlines while juggling multiple tasks across multiple reporting lines.
Maintain confidentiality and attorney-client privilege of legal matters.
Word processing, spreadsheet, and database management expertise, such as Microsoft Office Suite, contract databases, and legal outsourcing databases.
Possess excellent client-contact, drafting, proofing and typing skills.
Organize and maintain legal documents, legal matter working files, electronic databases, intranet websites and SharePoint sites. Input data and prepare reports using databases.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
At least 5 years of experience providing secretarial and administrative support, preferably in an in-house law department setting.
Strong word processing, spreadsheet, and database management expertise.
Takes ownership and responsibility on projects and consistently drives them to completion.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to learn use of new databases and technologies as may be necessary.
Experience working on complex and confidential documents.
