Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals!

Northrop Grumman Azusa is looking for a qualified Mission Systems Engineer to perform key assignments on our SBIRS (Space-Based Infrared Systems) program. Qualifying candidate will perform system engineering assignments related to the mission performance analysis and testing of SBIRS Mission Processing capabilities.Responsibilities include, but is not limited to, algorithms tuning for tracker and tactical parameter estimation using simulated scenarios and RLEs (Recorded Live Events), DR analysis and tools development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
  • 2years in software development and/or systems analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding of Algorithm Tuning and Software Analysis
  • Strong analytical and programming skills in MATLAB (or similar environment)
  • Active DoDSecret security clearance must be held and maintained. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with demonstrated experience in Algorithm Tuning and Software Analysis
  • SBIRS program or similar space programrelated knowledge
  • Knowledge of C++ and/or Perl
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance and/or SCIprogram access is highly desired.
