Neighborhoods.com is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paid Media Specialist to join our team in Chicago’s vibrant Fulton River District neighborhood. This position will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing paid media advertising for the company’s two brands in order to improve online reach, strengthen engagement and support larger marketing and business objectives.

What you’ll be doing as our Paid Media Specialist:

  • Working directly with the SEM Manager to manage paid social and display initiatives
  • Monitoring performance metrics daily, to identify trends and optimize campaigns
  • Recommending program optimizations; using knowledge of platform-specific capabilities and integrated media opportunities
  • Managing projects & timelines, with the ability to reprioritize deliverables to align with larger business goals
  • Proactively asking questions, communicating new ideas and participating in internal meetings
  • Creating paid social and display campaigns across platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Google Display Network and others
  • Executing on new opportunities to expand and improve lead generation through paid social and display
  • Working cross-functionally with team members, including SEM Manager, Marketing Managers, Content Editors, and Designers on occasion
  • Helping to facilitate both internal & vendor meetings and communication
  • Staying up-to-date on current paid media trends, best practices, and technologies
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned

Basic requirements to do the job:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising or Journalism, or equivalent experience
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience managing paid social and display campaigns
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to analyze performance and communicate insights to various stakeholders
  • Clear understanding of business & goals with ability to provide applicable recommendations
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in recommending solutions to improve performance and efficiency
  • High-level of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with Google Analytics
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Strong Excel knowledge and skills
